The 2026 Emmy Awards produced a red carpet led by custom gowns and precise tailoring from several major fashion houses. Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Loewe and Celine dressed many of the night’s nominees and presenters, and much of the color palette leaned toward pastels, metallics and classic black and white.
Nicole Kidman wore a white Chanel bustier dress made in wool crepe and finished with 46 handmade silk and raffia flowers. Ayo Edebiri chose a periwinkle Chanel dress with a vivid red sash, and Sarah Pidgeon wore a custom lilac Chanel slip dress with a plunging neckline, an asymmetric bias cut and pearl embellishments. Youn Yuh-jung rounded out the house’s showing in a white gown.
Zendaya appeared in a custom Prada gown covered in crystals, with a plunging V-neckline and a floor-length silhouette, while Emilia Clarke wore a lilac Prada silk faille dress with a cape-style back and symmetrical bows. Louis Vuitton dressed Selena Gomez in a strapless gold gown with a chainmail pattern spiraling around the waist and a mermaid skirt, and Chase Infiniti in a strapless mermaid gown covered in copper beads.
Elle Fanning wore a custom mint-green silk slip dress from Ralph Lauren Collection. Florence Pugh chose a custom lilac Vivienne Westwood gown with a corseted silhouette, sheer sequined fabric and voluminous off-the-shoulder sleeves. Dakota Fanning wore a black-and-white sleeveless Carolina Herrera dress from the Resort 2027 collection, and Louisa Jacobson chose sharp black Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann tailoring. Rachel Sennott stepped out in a hot-pink Balenciaga look. Loewe supplied Julia Garner a halterneck evening dress with all-over caviar beading and Riz Ahmed a steel-blue boxy suit with a trompe l’oeil shirt.
Celine accounted for a large share of the tailoring. Lisa Kudrow wore a wool and silk organza bustier dress with a double wool crepe bolero jacket. Oscar Isaac wore a double-breasted white jacket with black wool trousers, Mark Ronson a double-breasted tuxedo jacket with mohair wool trousers, and Dan Levy a mohair wool tuxedo jacket finished with a black crushed satin rose brooch. The house also dressed Woody Harrelson and Richard Gadd in variations on its evening tailoring.
