Princess Olympia of Greece Wears a Sheer Sequinned Valentino Dress in Paris

Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece has shared a photo of herself in a sheer Valentino “naked dress” covered in silver sequins. The 30-year-old, the daughter of Crown Prince Pavlos, posted the image on Thursday while she was in Paris for Fashion Week. She captioned it simply “Me again”.

The dress had long sleeves and was embroidered all over with silver sequins on a see-through base. Olympia wore her blonde hair in loose, cascading waves and finished the look with oversized black sunglasses. The post went out to her 318,000 followers on Instagram, and the reaction was warm. One follower told her she was simply too cool, a comment that summed up the mood under the picture.

It was not her only notable look of the Paris season. At Isabel Marant’s spring/summer 2027 womenswear show, she took a lighter approach in an ivory mini dress scattered with green and orange flowers. She paired it with sleek, pin-straight platinum hair, soft brown eyeshadow and red lipstick, a more polished finish than the relaxed cut of the dress might suggest. Hello! magazine described the outfit as an evening look. The show was part of the spring/summer 2027 womenswear calendar in Paris, and the pictures of her outfit were taken by Getty Images for Isabel Marant.

Olympia has also spent time on the other side of the catwalk this season. During New York Fashion Week she walked in Conner Ives’s spring/summer 2027 show, wearing a backless lilac dress with voluminous, Hollywood-style blonde hair. She shared behind-the-scenes footage of the preparations, and the post drew congratulations from her cousin Talita von Fürstenberg, the socialite Ivy Getty and the model Poppy Delevingne.

Her interest in clothes started early. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she recalled being lent a mini handbag in the style of Louis Vuitton by her grandmother for a family dinner when she was ten years old. She said the borrowed bag made her feel chic for that one meal, and she now describes herself as “a real bag lady”. Her Valentino post shows how far that early taste has carried her. The picture, credited to Getty Images for Valentino, joined a string of fashion week appearances in New York and Paris this autumn, including the Isabel Marant show and the Conner Ives catwalk.
