Dua Lipa has been having a distinctly Swedish summer. The pop star stopped in Stockholm during her run through Europe and documented the whole thing on Instagram, and the reason for the visit was a sweet one: she was there to celebrate her friend Mustafa’s 30th birthday.
Between the celebrations, she leaned all the way into the local experience. She wandered the city in a yellow-and-blue Ralph Lauren sweater — the colours were surely not an accident — put in some time in a recording studio, and worked her way through a very Swedish menu, from a Kalles kaviar breakfast at the Grand Hôtel to classic meatballs at Pelikan on Södermalm.
The Stockholm stop is the latest leg of a busy year. She married the actor Callum Turner in London in May, followed it with a celebration in Palermo and a road trip through Italy, and has since travelled through France, Copenhagen and Poland. She signed off to her Swedish followers exactly as you might hope: “Puss puss.”
