On Friday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the David Foster Foundation’s 40th anniversary gala in Victoria, Canada, walking the red carpet together in black-tie. Harry wore a classic tux; Meghan chose an asymmetrical navy gown.
The dress, by Canadian designer Greta Constantine, featured a slit and a short train. She wore her hair in a sleek bun and finished the look with sapphire-and-diamond earrings that belonged to the late Princess Diana.
The couple are close friends with music producer David Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee, and the foursome posed together on the carpet.
The Foundation they were there to support raises money for Canadian families whose children are undergoing organ transplants — a cause that lent the glamorous evening a personal weight.
