Le Scarf Enters Cashmere in Its Boldest Move Yet

The Stockholm-based brand Le Scarf, known for its timeless scarves, is entering a new chapter, and, fittingly, it does so with the scarf back at the centre. The label is launching its first cashmere collection for autumn and winter 2026, reinterpreting several of its signature prints in the new material.

Founded in 2018, Le Scarf was early to treat the scarf as a key wardrobe piece rather than an afterthought, both in Sweden and internationally. The years since have been eventful. The brand has grown quickly abroad, building a presence in London and Paris, and as recently as this spring it took its first step into the American market with a physical presence there.

Its range has broadened along the way, too. Beyond scarves, the label has added caps and sarongs, and this spring it presented its first resort collection, the start of an entirely new product category for the brand. The move into cashmere continues that expansion, but pointedly returns to the product that made Le Scarf’s name in the first place.

That is the smart part of the strategy. Rather than chase growth by drifting away from what it is known for, Le Scarf is deepening its core, using a more luxurious material to elevate the accessory at the heart of the brand. Longtime followers will recognise the prints; what’s new is the hand-feel and the price bracket that cashmere implies.

For a young label that has expanded fast across categories and continents, the cashmere launch reads as a statement of confidence and intent. Le Scarf is betting that its identity is strong enough to carry into luxury territory, and that the scarf, its founding idea, still has room to grow.
