Valentino Beauty Stages Los Angeles Launch Event for Vendetta Fragrance

Valentino Beauty marked the rollout of its Vendetta fragrance with a launch experience in Los Angeles on September 9, 2026. The brand built the event around the campaign’s cinematic theme and split it into two parts. A daytime segment took the form of a road trip, and the evening moved to a venue styled as the Vendetta Motel, where guests gathered for performances and presentations tied to the scents. The two-part format was intended to bring the imagery of the advertising campaign into a physical setting for the invited guests.

The fragrance’s two brand ambassadors, the actors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård, attended the event. Other guests included the couples Nicola Peltz Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, and Dave Franco and Alison Brie. Music came from the rapper Yung Lean and the producer DJ Surkin, who performed during the evening portion of the activation at the motel-themed venue. The guest list of paired couples echoed the campaign’s framing of the fragrances around relationships and desire.

Vendetta is Valentino Beauty’s first prestige fragrance franchise in six years, and it is made up of two scents, Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. The campaign photography was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The line reached the United States in late August 2026, and the Los Angeles gathering followed that debut as part of the brand’s promotion of the two fragrances.

Vendetta Donna was created by the perfumers Dominique Ropion and Andrew Everett. Its composition centers on tuberose, captured through an air-capture technology from L’Oréal known as Osmobloom, along with a red orange nectar accord. Valentino Beauty produces its fragrance and cosmetics under a license with L’Oréal, which supplied the extraction method used for the tuberose in the women’s scent.

Vendetta Uomo was developed by the perfumer Marie Salamagne and draws on Peruvian ginger, a cinnamon liquor accord, patchouli and woody notes. The company has described the franchise as a return to emotional depth in fragrance, framing the release around a moment when, in its words, love risks becoming performative, algorithmic or diluted. The two scents are presented as a linked pair rather than separate, unrelated launches.
